tvN has just dropped new stills for its upcoming drama, Serendipity’s Embrace, which is set to hit screens on July 22, 2024. 

Based on the webtoon Uyeonilkka? by Nam Ji Eun and illustrated by Kim In Ho, this lovely romantic Korean drama is a super sweet second chance romance drama.  

The drama follows Lee Hong Ju, played by Kim So Hyun, who experienced heartbreak during high school. Now, ten years later, she’s a successful animation producer. 

Her world shifts when she runs into her old crush, Kang Hu Yeong (Chae Jong Hyeop), who has returned from the U.S. as a financial planner. As they reconnect, they face the question of whether a new romance is possible or if too much time has passed.

The drama, directed by Song Hyun Wook and written by Park Geu Ro, will air for 8 episodes every Monday and Tuesday. Viewers can catch it on TVING and Viki.

Joining Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop are Yun Ji On as Bang Jun Ho, Kim Da Som as Kim Hye Ji, Lee Won Jung as Lee Won Jung, Hwang Sung Bin as Kwon Sang Pil (Hu Yeong’s best friend), and Son Gyeong Taek as a physics teacher.
