So, if you’re like me, these lovely Korean dramas with the best warm male leads will make you so, so happy. 

1. Summer Strike

After experiencing loss after loss Lee Yeo Reum escapes to the seaside where she meets the warm-hearted An Dae Beom. 

An Dae Beom is a librarian who’s scarred and it was so healing to watch these two lonely souls slowly shed the pain of their past.

I’ll say Dae Beom is the standard of men because he was so kind, thoughtful, and an all-round good guy. 

2. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

Dentist Yoon Hye Jin sets up a dental clinic in a seaside village after losing her job and she often clashes with Hong Do Shik, a free-spirited jack of all trades, who becomes her guide in adapting to village life.

You guys, Do Shik is the sweetest and warmest Korean drama male lead I’ve ever watched and I really did not regret watching this Korean drama. 

3. When The Camellia Blooms

In Ongsan, single mother Dong Baek suffers the judgment of everyone while navigating two love interests and a lurking danger. 

So, local police officer Hwang Yong Shik makes it his mission to stand by her side, and this was such a heartwarming tale set in a small town.

4. The Witch’s Diner

Jung Jin’s perfect life crumbles and this leads her to a sorceress, Jo Hee Ra, but their collaboration in their magical restaurant brings unexpected success.

Lee Gil Young might not be the most popular male lead out there, but he was so cool-headed and warm-hearted and he really pulled off the noona romance in the sweetest way. 

5. Twenty-Five Twenty-One

Set against the backdrop of the South Korean financial crisis, Na Hee Do and Baek Yi Jin pursue their dreams and do all they can to rebuild their lives. 

2521 is probably one of the most popular Korean dramas of the past decade (even that less than ideal ending didn’t touch the rankings), and if you want a romantic K-Drama with a warm male lead, this is it. 

6. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon

Do Bong Soon’s extraordinary strength attracts the attention of CEO Ahn Min Hyuk and this leads to a delightful love triangle with her childhood friend In Guk Doo. 

If you’ve been in K-Drama land for any length of time, you’ve probably come across edits of this lovely couple (they’re so iconic they even had a brief cameo in Strong Girl Nam Soon). 

Min Hyuk set the standard for wickedly rich pookies and I loved him a whole lot. 

7. Police University

Hacker Kang Sun Ho decides to become a police officer so that he can be with judo girl Oh Kang Hee, who he has had a crush on for some time. 

Unexpectedly taught by his former misdemeanant, Yoo Dong Man, Sun Ho discovers the true meaning of justice, all while bumbling to happiness. 

8. Angel’s Last Mission

Ballerina Lee Yeon Seo, emotionally distant due to tragedy and then she meets optimistic angel Kim Dan – His mission? To find true love for the cynical prima ballerina.

Needless to say, he himself falls in love with her and you’re going to love Kim Dan if you like obnoxious immortals who are simply adorable. 

9. Something In The Rain

Yoon Jin Ah, known for her clumsy behavior, finds unexpected love with her childhood friend’s younger brother, Joon Hee. 

Joon Hee is played by Jung Hae In and friends, he isn’t called the king of melodrama for no reason – my man is a green flag all through and I felt he was such a perfect Korean drama warm male lead.

10. Come And Hug Me

Yoon Na Moo and Gil Nak Won’s childhood love is torn apart by a psychopath serial killer. 

Years later, as detective Chae Do Jin and actress Han Jae Yi cross paths again, and the story develops as they both try to fight for their happiness.

Jang Ki Young plays the role of Do Jin in this romantic action Kdrama and when I tell you he has the most bottomless and expressive eyes that would make you for him.

A warm male lead through and through, Do Jin was ready to put himself in front of the fire for her over and over again. 

11. One Spring Night

Lee Jung In, stuck in a stagnant relationship, forms a secret friendship with pharmacist Yu Ji Ho, and this soon deepens into a heartwarming connection.

This is another Jung Hae In drama (he plays Yu Ji Ho) and I’ll tell you for sure that he was just as stunning and I loved him so much here.
