Youku has announced the cast for its brand new xianxia romance drama, 十万狂花入梦来 (tentative title) and filming is now officially underway.
The cast includes Li Hongyi, Sun Zhenni, Zhao Zhaoyi, Zhang Kangle, Ma Wenyuan, Bai Shu, Yao Chi, and Dai Yanni.
Li Hongyi, known for roles in The Blood of Youth, Parallel Love, Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me, and Love From The Ocean, will play the male lead.
Sun Zhenni, who will take on the female lead, has been seen in supporting roles in Dear Mr. Heavenly Fox, Till The End of the Moon, and Out of the Dream.
The drama will be directed by Zhong Qing, whose previous works include Guess Who I Am, In Blossom, Hero Is Back, Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling, My Girl, and To Get Her.
As of now, there is no information about the screenwriter. Filming has just begun, so there are no behind-the-scenes details yet, but updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
