Tencent Video’s upcoming supernatural historical drama, Moonlit Reunion, starring Xu Kai and Tian Xiwei, has reached 500,000 reservations on Tencent Video and Weibo. To celebrate, a new poster has been released.

Filming wrapped up in May, but the official release date has not yet been announced. 

The drama, adapted from Fu Hua’s web novel Mei Fu Ren Chong Fu Ri Chang, follows Wu Zhen, a pampered noble with a rebellious streak who can see spirits. After inheriting demon powers from her former cat master, she secretly oversees the Chang’an Demon City.

Mei Zhu Yu, on the other hand, is the nephew of a noble concubine who has the ability to see spirits and is a highly skilled Taoist practitioner. 

The supernatural elements and historical intrigue already mark this upcoming Chinese drama as a standout piece and more details on its premiere will be posted on the site.
