The upcoming drama Zang Hai Zhuan has already received over 2 million reservations on Youku!

This series stars Xiao Zhan and Zhang Jingyi and is directed by Zheng Xiao Long, best known for Medal of the Republic, See You Again, and Legend of Mi Yue.

Zhao Liu Yi, who wrote the screenplays for the popular series Reunion: The Sound of the Providence and Tomb of the Sea is the screenwriter.

While the official release date is still pending, the drama’s plot centers on Zhi Nu, the son of the Imperial Astronomer of Da Yong. After his family is killed, Zhi Nu takes on the alias Zang Hai. 

He then returns to the capital to seek revenge and gain justice. To do this, he tackles difficult problems and gains the trust of his enemies, including Marquis Ping Jin. 

As Zang Hai, he becomes the new Imperial Astronomer and aims to bring those responsible for his family’s death to justice, while also working to prevent a war planned by Grand Secretary Shi Huai Shan.

The drama will have 40 episodes, each about 45 minutes long, and it will be available on both the Youku app and its YouTube channel.
