Sometimes, you need to unwind, and if you’re like me, a lighter Korean drama probably does the trick. 

Even better when they’re so good I laugh until I ache, and here, I’ve listed some of my all-time favorite funny Korean dramas everyone needs to watch.

1. Welcome To Waikiki

If you have watched this drama, then it probably needs no introduction, but just know that there are so many funny moments in this drama.

The characters really carry their weight, and trust me, you’re going to be laughing all the way through.

2. Mr. Queen

What could possibly go wrong if a modern-day playboy goes back in time into the body of a hated Joseon monarch? 

Everything possibly could go wrong, and you really need to watch this drama if you need a good laugh. 

The theme song is Bong Hwan A by Norazo and that’s really all you need to know about this hilarious drama.

3. Mad For Each Other

From the very first episode, I was laughing so hard it felt like I would crack a rib. 

Lee Min Kyung and Noh Hwi Oh, the leads in this drama, have the best chemistry, and their comedy is so effortless you’ll be smiling from start to finish.

4. Legend Of The Blue Sea

Jun Ji Hyun is legendary for her role in this drama, and while Lee Min Ho might not strike you as the funny sort, his comedic timing in Legend of The Blue Sea was genius, and I laughed a whole lot.

5. My Love From The Star

There’s a running gag in this fantasy drama about the female lead, who’s somewhat uneducated, and if that doesn’t tickle your funny bone, you won’t be able to stop yourself from cracking a smile when you see the way she absolutely tortured Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun).

6. Dali And The Cocky Prince

I watched this drama when it aired, and I loved it a whole lot, so I convinced everyone I knew to watch it. 

There’s everything from comedy to thriller to romance, and you’re definitely going to love it!
