So, I’ve rounded up 7 best Chinese dramas with a high rewatch value that you’re going to come back to over and over again.

1. A Love So Beautiful

Watching Xiao Xi and Jiang Chen grow from teens to adults and find meaning in the things around them was so heartwarming.

So, this is a high school drama I’ve come back to time and time again because the sweetness of our leads and their relationship with their friend group was so memorable.

2. When I Fly Towards You

If someone had told me that a random pick on Netflix would carve a space in my heart, I would never have believed it.

You guys, WIFTY is one of the new Chinese dramas I’ve rewatched time and time again, and I genuinely need everyone to meet Lu Rang, Zai Zai, and the rest of the gang.

3. A Little Thing Called First Love

Shy and artistic Xia Miao Miao absolutely stole my heart and I appreciated her growth from an awkward teen to a not-so-awkward young woman.

I’ll forever recommend this lovely drama for its rewatch value and trust me when I say you’ll cry, scream, be happy, and do it all over again.

4. Put Your Head On My Shoulder

Yes, our male lead in this drama Gu Wei Yi is a top-level math wiz, but he would Google the most mundane things and I think about him whenever I need to find the meaning of anything online.

This is yet another drama I wasn’t expecting to love so much, but I did and right now, I use whatever opportunity I get to rewatch my favourite parts.

5. Wait My Youth

I’ll forever remember this lovely youth Chinese drama as the one that made me root for the leads from day one and didn’t disappoint

You won’t understand until you watch it, but basically, I thought this was going to give me another case of second-lead syndrome, but I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t go that route.

It’s on Netflix so I can’t count the number of times I’ve gone back to see the wholesome and sweet romance between Tian Ye and Can Can.

6. Be Yourself

Be Yourself is the drama to watch if you want a slice of life with the most endearing ensemble cast that’ll make you want to give each of them a hug.

Best believe you’ll come back to key scenes over and over again to relive your emotions and it’s going to be so cathartic.

7. The Legends

This might be an odd addition to this list, but The Legends was so striking the first time I watched it and that feeling hasn’t faded at all.

Lu Zhao Yao possessed the body of Qin Zhi Yan to take revenge for her unjust death and her target is Li Chen Lan, but the more she spends time with him, the more she falls.

I don’t think I’ve quite seen angst being executed as well as it was in The Legends (If you have, drop a rec), so I always go back to it to feel the tension.

Chinese dramas are some of the most decadent pleasures of life and these are the ones I always, always, always go back to.
